Welcome to my spring cottage home tour!
It is spring here in sunny Arizona and so that means all my roses are in full bloom!! It took a tad longer this year because I I pruned them too late in the season and was afraid I may have killed them!!! As you will see that was not the case and they are just as lovely as ever!! If you missed my Winter tour you can get caught up on that HERE
I’ll fully admit that I have a hard time committing to color! I ?love florals like these roses because they are the perfect compromise for this neutrals girl! I can have a beautiful bright pop of color effortlessly! If you struggle with color too, florals are a great place to start!!
My inspiration for this room came from the black and white gingham pillows that Rachel made for our shop. I love the graphic element that they bring to the room! I also added this Ohio quilt square to mimic that black and white theme. I love to layer things on top of each other as I’ve done here with this mirror and the chalkboard and the boxwood wreath. Layering is an easy way to make a large space like this feel more cozy!
This antique sideboard is a new addition to my furniture collection! My grandmother passed it along to me when she redid her guest room! She is to blame for my decorating obsession! I love going to her home and being inspired by her decor and always have even as a little girl!
