But I find that you guys like to see exact tutorials for each individual sign so I am always happy to share that process since it is something I enjoy doing, and its also an affordable way to add d?cor to my home each season! Designing new signs allows me to get creative. I am also now starting to share the SVG (silhouette cutting machine files) in my Etsy shop. Under the video be sure to check out the exact items I use to create this sign. If you don’t already know I made and sold signs on Etsy for 3 years, while I no longer do that, I did learn a whole lot about the right tools and materials to make the process much more fluid and easy!! The Recommended Supply List for Making Signs
Wood- I use cabinet wood that comes in 4x8ft sheets at Home Depot
Framing wood-I use 1×2 inch by 8ft furring wood strips from Home Depot
PRO TIP: I cut large size signs like this one in half using the “knife tool” the icon is a knife and then piece the two sides together. This way I can make signs larger than 12 inches wide.
