Last year I had just started to play around with video and I had all these plans to share lots of Christmas tutorials with you but the learning curve was a little steeper than I had hoped and the days just got away from me! Not this year though, you better believe I have quite a few fun things up my sleeve to share with you! It’s also been about a year since I started to upload videos to YouTube, I have learned so much in this last year and I love sharing my home and projects in video form!! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Here is my first Christmas video home tour of the season!

Today you get to see my farmhouse Christmas dining room tour! I went pretty simple and minimalistic in this space this year, for a couple reasons. Mostly I just liked the few little things that I added to this room and so it was easy to stop and not go over board with decorating! I find that the more I “struggle” with the space the more things I add and before I know it, its way over done!

This year’s color scheme is very neutral, featuring gray, white, and black. Mostly because that is always my favorite! But the bigger reason is we will be adding baby number 5 to our home the very last week of November. There is a good chance I wont be getting to Christmas cleaned up right away this year so I figured I would do something that can easily transition into the next year!

When I first started to plan this space I’ll admit I was stumped! I looked at so many different stores trying to find a “neutral” plate or bowl or placemat and I kept coming up empty handed!

Well just last week the new Hearth and Hand line came out at Target. The Sunday it launched and I peeked at all the goodness online I couldn’t believe how perfectly all the table setting d?cor and plates etc. would match with the theme of my Christmas d?cor this year! I had already made some pillows and decorated the combined living room that is two feet from this space. I already had the majority of the d?cor done and since these rooms are just a long shared space I needed them to flow well.

Monday morning I jumped in my minivan with my 2 year old daughter in tow and we hit up 2 Targets before finding all the perfectly paired items needed to dress up the table this year!

I love these plates and bowls so much and I am excited to use them throughout the year since they are everyday pieces!

The finishing touch for the table was these juniper picks I got from Hobby Lobby I got a large bundle of them and I have them stuck in places all over my home I just love them!!!

The advent calendar bags I made last year, you can find the tutorial HERE, and the swag on the hutch came from after Christmas sales at Hobby Lobby a few years ago, Its my favorite time to shop for Christmas d?cor! I also walked through Hobby Lobby a time or two this year and they still carry the eact same strands! I love that its a softer green and has pine cones mixed in!

That pretty much sums up my Christmas dining room this year! Be sure to check back for more tutorials and next week I’ll be sharing part 2 of my Christmas Home tour! Below I have linked every item shared in this space so you can shop the looks too!
