It is just a place in my home that makes me happy! I am also feeling a little melancholy this year as I decorate it knowing it just might be the last year we are in this home. We have plans to move closer to our family next year and that means leaving behind the first home we ever got to call ours!

I was 8 months pregnant when we moved into this house and we also had 18 month old twin boys!!! Looking back on that period of my life seems SOO long ago and yet I still remember those little blonde boys and there fuzzy heads ccrawling all over like it was yesterday!!

We brought home both of our daughters here and will welcome our very last baby a surprise due this December as well. This home has brought so much joy to our family, and I have felt so much contentedness in this home. I have said many times I could live here forever, and if it was plopped about 20 minuets closer to our family I might do just that!

Even though we know its time to say our good byes and move on to the next chapter of our life. I will always love this home and the many memories we have made here!

I often think homes are so much more than just the materials they have been built with, we all put a little soul into our homes as we live and grow in them. This place has harbored so much good I can only hope for that much goodness in our next home as our young babies grow up and become more independent.

This space was actually my twins glorified playroom for the first 2 years we lived here. It was complete with a baby gate, full sized play house and toys littered the floor 24/7. I don’t think you could have ever convinced me this space would ever house a white couch let alone be a place I retreat to for a little solace every now and again!

Its changed so much and as much as I love it I miss those times before when it was a play room too!

My boys are so mischievous, and the front door is also located in this room. We had such a time trying to figure out a lock system that could keep them in!! They used to try their hardest to escape daily!! Often in the nude!!! ha ha I have to say its nice not having to explain to my neighbors why my kids are naked in the front yard anymore!!

I hope what ever season of life you are in you find time to soak it in, these moments sure to pass so quickly!!! Sometimes we dream about bigger and better but there really is so much joy in simple!

Thanks so much for joining me on this tour below you will find a full list of items I have shared in the space! Enjoy!
