Farmhouse Storage and Organization Ideas

Today I am going to be sharing some of my all time favorite farmhouse inspired organization and storage ideas! I have rounded up some projects from some amazing bloggers to bring you some major organization inspiration! I don’t know about you but I am hooked on looking at organization ideas on Pinterest! I could get lost for hours in the sea of perfectly organized closets and bathrooms… weird? Maybe, but its the simplest way to get me in the mood to put my own house in order! Kind of like watching hoarders.. I can’t sit through an episode of hoarders without needing to desperately scrub something close by!??Sit back and enjoy as you scroll through these farmhouse inspired organization and storage ideas! If you have some of your own feel free to link them in the comments! I seriously love to see what you guys get up to and love to take a look at your projects as well! Don’t be shy link away!??Without further ado lets get started on these 10 projects!

Project #1

Farmhouse inspired shelving including DIY plans from The Mountain View Cottage (hey that’s me!)

First up we have the shelves we made this January! It’s been about 6 months since we installed them and I love them more and more! Not only are they pretty, but they are functional! I have added baskets and crates to store all my photo props as well as inventory from my shop among so much more! They are right on target with that farmhouse vibe while also adding storage and organization to any space in your home! I’ve actually added shelves just like these to my bathroom to store the rolls and rolls of toilet paper! Because let face it you can never have enough! &?toilet paper is automatically cuter sitting on a stained shelf! Trust me on this one!

Project #2

Liz Marie linen closet organization

You know I regularly gush about Liz Marie and her incredible home! And for good reason! I love what she did to this little linen closet this spring! So simple, she just added some pretty wicker baskets and a wire laundry basket and BAM! Instantly organized, while also looking farmhouse and functional! I particularly love this idea because you can change what you put in those baskets as your needs change! Certain farmhouse organization ideas don’t leave a lot of room to change things around and are over designed. Meaning; every single item has to stay exactly where it started! Not with this farmhouse inspired organized linen closet! you can put whatever extra linens and toiletries you have in those baskets and it still looks this pretty! That is an organization win in my book!

Project #3

Farmhouse pantry make over from The Little Glass Jar Blog

When I stumbled across this pantry makeover from Ashley a few weeks ago,?my heart skipped a beat! As much as I love to scroll through organization ideas on Pinterest there are few that truly embody that farmhouse style and this was just so dead on! First of all anything with shiplap and stained wood automatically gets my vote, and secondly, I have a pantry that is tiny just like this guy and is FUGLY! I wont even beat around the bush you guys its hideous! Seeing this little space all spiffed up made me think perhaps I’ve neglected my pantry for too long and its time to show it some love! So kudos to Ashely for showing us how to take a small space and really add that farmhouse inspired look while also creating a beautifully organized space!

Project #4

LIz Love Grows Wild Entry Way storage and organization

I absolutely love this shelving unit that Liz used to create extra storage in her space! The things that stand out the most to me and really make it farmhouse inspired are the galvanized buckets, wicker baskets and wood drawers! Once again you have a farmhouse inspired organized space that also is functional and can transition with your needs! Give me all the baskets!! I love baskets because they are so versatile! the space can look the exact same from one season to the next but hold completely different items! That is a farmhouse inspired organization magic trick folks!

Project #5

Country Chic Cottage- pantry organization

I love this project from Angie for a couple reasons! Firstly free printables! I LOVE free printables if you’ve been around for any length of time you know that to be true! Second its super versatile, and third its hella cheap! Mason jars are so affordable and many of us already have them hanging out somewhere collecting dust! Just dust those bad boys off print out these darling farmhouse inspired labels and you have function, organization all ?in one! This is one of those projects ?you could probably whip up this afternoon!

Project #6

Styled by Gibson Events and Designed by Jana Carson and featured on Style Me Pretty ?this entry way is full of farmhouse charm while also creating smart and easy storage!

Lets just agree that this entry way is AMAZING! I love the floor, the green built ins, the stained planked ceiling, chandelier, shiplapped walls, and the door! I love it all! But what I love most about this farmhouse inspired organization space is that it is functional! Any mom who has kids that come home from school weekly knows the pain and suffering we go through to get those backpacks hung up, shoes put away etc! this makes it possible to corral all those items into one easy space, while looking rather ridiculously cute!

Project #7

Lolly Jane Blog Craft-room organization

I love the girls over at Lolly Jane! There are so many amazing projects bundled into this little craft room that its hard to pick just one! But for today’s purposes lets highlight on the farmhouse inspired built ins! These built ins are soo cute! But also functional! I love the stained creates at the bottom that were stenciled with numbers! I’ve even though of using this tutorial to make some shoe organization crates! You can add a pop of color or contrast by adding a stencil to that back of the built ins like Kelli and Kristi did! And the burlap bunting is just the perfect finishing touch!??If craft-room organization is on your mind look no further than this space!

Project #8

Postbox Designs kids homework area

If your house is anything like mine there really is no “designated” space for a kids work area! This space created and designed by Kristin?Completely eliminates that frustration of having to clear the kitchen table or not having enough room to spread out and study! Its not only functional but super darling and farmhouse inspired! The overall design concept is super simple,?but that I think is what makes it so special! It just goes to show that you don’t need lots of fancy drawers and cabinets to create a usable organized space for your home!

Project #9

Twelve on Main laundry room farmhouse inspired storage and organization

This space by Twelve on Main has me dreaming of laundry rooms! I have an entire board on Pinterest dedicated to laundry rooms I love them that much! I love that this laundry room that Sara designed and created is so functional and is definitely farmhouse inspired! The wire baskets below are are perfect for sorting laundry, and the butcher counter is the perfect space to get all those loads folded, with hanging space just and arms reach away! This space is so lovely and functional which is why it makes the list for farmhouse inspired organization and storage!

Project #10

Farmhouse inspired entertainment storage from Shades of Blue Interiors

Last but certainly not least is this entertainment center designed and created by Rachel at Shades of Blue Interiors!?I love the juxtaposition between the white and stained wood! The little ledge below the TV is such a perfect little touch while the bookcases and bench below leave you ample room to store all your books,DVD’s, remotes blankets you need it! this farmhouse inspired space is so pretty and really lets you showcase your homes character while also being functional!

  1. Tudah Rbah (thank you very much). Peaceful design. I like that. The real Name of the Creator is Yah (short version). He told Mose/Moses He is Hayah asher Hayah. That is His Name, then word play (which the Hebrew Scriptures is full of). Hayah is His ancient Name (means Breath of Life, worship, Breath of Everlasting Life). The 2nd Breath comes from the Messiah only. asher means "blessed," and "which is;" Hayah means His Name and "was." so He is telling Mose, He is Hayah, which is, was. Also He is telling Mose Hayah, blessed Hayah. Hayah is His Name , but also the narrow path, in which mankind must stay, to be saved. That narrow path is kept by following the Messiah, Who is the Word. HaLLUYaH means "the highest praise to Yah." Also, we are expected to keep the 7 appointed times, as written of in Leviticus/Wayyiqra 23, but no more animal sacrifices. Many people reject this type of post, not wanting to offend their subscribers or fans. But the Creator is worthy of our honor and praise and we are to help each other obey Him rightly, not in false worship, as taught by the world. HaLLUYaH.

  3. I love your laundry room! Especially the farm sink in the base with the decorative legs. Could you please tell me about it! Did you make the sink base from a cabinet?
