Welcome to my home tour! My husband and I purchased our first home 3 summers ago. It was a new build and we set out day one to add a little extra character and charm to the space! This room started as a play room complete with an outdoor play house, buckets of toys, baby gate and a layer of fishy crackers smashed into the carpet! It has come a long way since that phase and I think has really evolved as I have developed my own sense of style. My style can easily be summed up into cottage farmhouse and anything soft white and cream!! I have more plans for this room this year but still love the way it looks today!
As a mother to 4 little kids, twin boys who are 5 and two girls 3 and 5 months life gets crazy and every other corner of my house may be covered in laundry and art projects but this is the one space that remains and is my little “retreat” away from the rest of the chaos! Though I do fully embrace the chaos and revel in it most days!! This room has so many windows that are south facing and the light just pours into this room leaving a beautiful blanket of light on everything it touches!
I ?hope you enjoy this tour and will come back as I continue to spruce it up and share more of what I have in store for it!!
